Great offer. Wow. Eleven different templates. It was tough enough choosing between 7 or 8. Great work.

As a new small business owner who has very little web design experience, I have to say, I am thrilled at the videos and articles I have found here. I made a Wordpress web page last night using the easy to follow instructions and it no longer looks like a blog. It’s great fun. I look forward to learning more here and getting my webpage up soon.

That’s great Barb! Thanks for the kind words, and good luck with your webpage!

Really like your theme, your videos and plan to use this to develop website for a “Let’s Talk Small Biz” TV show we will offer local entrepreneurs along with how to have this commercial show on their local cable system. We’ll be promoting their use of WordPress and the Small Business theme

Glad to be on your email list and hope you keep the material coming

I’ve got a question. I’m thinking about getting the SmallBiz Theme in the single-user version, but then moving up to the Developer version. Will I be eligible for any discount when I move up? I know that some themes will give a credit for all or part of the initial (single-user) theme purchase. Thanks!

Reply

Don Campbell May 21, 2012 at 7:50 pm

Hi Bill,
Absolutely – I’ll give you full credit when you are ready to upgrade.

Don:

Great promotion. As you know I have been a big fan. I also use the Diva’s to manage my two web sites and of course they are expand2web sites. I keep pushing people your way and everyone has been glad they now use expand2web. Keep up the good work.

Reply

Don Campbell May 21, 2012 at 7:50 pm

Thanks Bruce – it’s good to hear from you. And I sincerely appreciate your support.

Reply

Ken May 21, 2012 at 7:50 pm

I have used the theme a few times and it is very easy to use. Great features. I must say though, the support is unmatched. I have had a few issues and questions, most of which I submitted on weekends or nights. I got a response within an hour on several occasions, I don’t think you guys sleep!
I would like to get some more ideas on designing a bit more “out of the box” since I have a tendency to use the same look for a few sites.

Reply

Don Campbell May 22, 2012 at 4:08 pm

Thanks Ken! We try super hard to provide the best customer experience possible. It’s expensive for us but you’re worth it.

We’ve got a nice customer gallery with some design ideas here: http://www.smallbiztheme.com/tour/#gallery (put the preso in full screen mode for best effect)

If you want others, I have a ton more links I can email you too.

What a great giveaway. I know that I struggled getting the right theme for one of my current sites and had difficulties with a designer who was not able to interpret my brief. Wish I had known about Expand2web then. Is it possible to use the themes on an existing wordpress site without losing content/plugins etc? I am also looking for someone to manage my site so will go and take a look at the other two blogs. Thanks

Reply

Eileen Lonergan May 22, 2012 at 6:02 am

Mandy, Don has loads of great videos and tutorials that I am sure you find helpful. I also have a bunch on my blog, let me know if I can answer anything specific. As with all WordPress sites, you can certainly switch themes, but make sure you have a backup before you start anything and beware, sometimes plugins cause conflicts!

Reply

Brad May 22, 2012 at 3:27 am

Hi Don,
Always liked your Small Business Theme not sure what project I would use it on, but the email just before this one was from Frank Kern talking about giving stuff away so people think your crazy! Then I open up this message and you are right on track with his message. Awesome!

I know the SmallBiz Theme works along with your seo, many times I have been searching something WordPress and your site is right there on or near the top of a search with the answer. Thinking about it right now I should send you the question if your site doesn’t come up so you can post about it. Hmmmmmmm…….

Great promo

Reply

Don Campbell May 22, 2012 at 4:12 pm

Hi Brad – sure send it over!

Reply

Brad May 22, 2012 at 6:31 pm

Will do Don,
I don’t have a WordPress or website how to site and I know from experience answering questions especially when good answers are hard to find poke pretty nice holes in the searches. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is one I was looking for today: Is there a plugin that you can see who is doing what on your WP site in real time? Yes I do come up with some crazy stuff, I may have something built.

Reply

Basil Rehill May 22, 2012 at 3:43 am

Hi Don,

I have used your free version of your theme and have found it to be the answer to many of my WordPress problems. I would love to have the full version as some of the features are disabled in the free version.

I am very impressed with the ease of use and built in SEO features. It is very easy for Google to follow all my links. I always look forward to your tips and tutorials. Thank you for running this give away.

Basil

I truly am interested in what you have to offer. My current website was created by me, myself, and I; and I can say that it is not easy to use on my end. I have been meaning to change it to something that is easy to add to, subtract from, and update. Fingers crossed; maybe I will win! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m really interested in this theme and as Don will probably tell you I have been picking his brain lately asking questions about the theme and how to get decent headers designed for it etc.

I plan to offer clients the chance to have their own site, FB page and mobile site for a fixed price and then upsell seo services. The only reason that’s holding me back is the choice of headers and the cost of getting one designed and then having to charge the client extra.
I should of really taken the plunge already as my own site needs changing but think I’ll wait and see if I’m a winner!

Will give this a +1 and a tweet!
