p.s. Here’s a link the kids might enjoy – Google Santa Tracker. And there’s always the great Norad Santa tracker. I couldn’t get my kids to bed on Christmas Eve without it!

Hi,
I’m new to WordPress and still struggling a bit. A little about me. I’m 70 years old, retires Naval officer, owned a WEB site years ago, and finally decided to put up a small web site for my stained glass creations. I make 3d stained glass sailing boats.
I purchased the SmallBiz theme that was included in the WordPress install. I really like the theme. I opted to use the Image Rotator template. So far, so good. I followed the instructions for loading the pictures and got some of the dimensions wrong. I resized the pictures to the 320×215 px size, reloaded the pics, deleted the oversized original , re-pasted the links from the meddia library, and still get the wrong pics in the slide show. There’s something I really just don’t get!
Any help you can give me will be most appreciated.
Thanks
Bill
P.S. Happy New Year, I really like the theme. My site will look great!

Hi Don, Just wanted to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and happy, prosperous new year. I’m an on-again/off-again marketer and have been playing with setting up a site since 2007 As you might imagine, I’ve fallen victim to quite a few programs that didn’t work; mostly due to my shortcomings, not theirs. I always got overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge that needed to be digested in order to become what I considered to be proficient. That is, until I found your SmallBiz Word Press theme. It is still complicated, but not overwhelmingly so. Most of what I am required to do does not demand that I necessarily understand why the software does what it does, I just follow the step-by-step instructions and reap the results! What’s more, the amount of videos and other support ensures that no matter how slow my progress, the help will be there when I finally throw up my hands and seek help. I hope this is making sense to some of you who share similar experiences.

Hi Don.

I’m currently testing the “lite” version of SmallBiz and was going to upgrade to the full package but I no longer see this theme available using the WordPress Dashboard. Has SmallBiz been removed?

Hi Keith,
Thanks for your note!
I’m not sure why it isn’t showing up in your WordPress install any more. Once the theme is installed it stays there unless you delete it.

I will have Thomas send you another “lite” version to install and test out to see if you want the full version.
