What is LocalU?

Local U is an informative four-hour crash course in the basics of internet marketing — and especially Local Search. It’s largely a beginners’ event that is intended specifically for business owners and is aimed at helping them to thrive online.

I’m excited to be an organizer for this event, along with Kathy from Kat & Mouse Internet Marketing and Mike Blumenthal.

The speakers at this event are experts in their field, and generously share their knowledge with the attendees. If you are local business owner in Silicon Valley, don’t miss this event – you will take away lots of valuable, actionable tips to help your business online.

What You Will Learn

  • The ABCs of Local Search
  • How to get your website to rank in the local listings
  • How to make your website more effective (I will be presenting this section)
  • How to be proactive about your online reviews
  • How to leverage blogging and social media for your business
  • and LOTS more…

You can also attend one of the breakout sessions and get all of your questions answered.

Here’s a short video that gives you a nice overview, from business owners who have attended the event in other cities.

How To Register

Local University will take place on May 1, 2014 from 8:30 am – 1 p.m at the Orchard City Banquet Hall in Campbell, CA.

Registration is very affordable at $129. You can save $50 if you sign up with my invite code here.

I hope to see you there! If you come to the event, make sure to say hello – I’d love to meet up with you.
