@Kevin,
I checked your website and it looks like you are using a very old version of the Chiropractor2Web theme, and you must have upgraded WordPress to 3.0+.

WordPress changed many things in 3.0, including how the home page appears. You'll should upgrade your theme to make the home page appear static and the blog page list the posts.

I'll contact you via email to help you out.

Hi Don,
I ran into the same thing that Clare did above this post. I changed my homepage and now my blog page has exactly what my new homepage has on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

@Clare - Thank you!
You use the Omit Pages if you want to keep the page but not have it show up in the Nav menu. To completely get rid of the Find Us page, just delete the page in the WordPress Admin and it will no longer show up in the sitemap.

As for your blog page, you ran into one of two bugs the emerged when WordPress 3.0 was released. I'll contact you separately with the quick fix for this.

Hi Don, loving finding my way around small biz theme. Just got a couple of questions though, I've created a new static page for my home page but the same page still shows up on my blog. Can I just send this to trash and set up a new post for my blog? Also in the smallbiz options panel I have selected to omit the find us page however it still comes up clickable in the site map. Any help would be great thanks.

Hi Kelsey,
Yes - that has to do with your theme. The items on your news page are just excerpts (not the whole post) and most themes don't use hyperlinks in the text of the excerpts. The goal of the excerpt is to get the reader to click on the article to read more rather than click away. As you mentioned, when reading the whole post the hyperlinks are active.
Make sense?

We are currently using WordPress and I have been thoroughly impressed. This is a great tool and it's easy to navigate. I've been posting blogs via Wordpress for our website . I do have one question though. On the news page http://www.millscom.com/news/, the keywords are not linked even though I linked them in Wordpress. If I click on a blog though, for example http://www.millscom.com/2010/unified-communicator-advanced/, then the keywords are highlighted and linked. Any idea why this is the case?
