Andrew Bamford - KiteboardingCairns.com.auAndrew Bamford, owner of KiteBoarding Cairns took an unconventional approach.

In a world where 50% of businesses don’t have a website or online presence, he built his website first – before he even started his business!

And he gets 95% of his booking from his website now as a result.

Join me in this edition of the Expand2Web Podcast where I interview successful business owner Andrew Bamford about his Kiteboarding business in Cairns Australia.

Andrew built a successful web presence for his business and gets almost all of his new customers through the website he built.

Now he’s using what he learned to build websites for other businesses too.

In the interview, we talk about how he did it, and what he learned along the way.

Watch the interview video here:

Andrew’s business website is http://www.KiteBoardingCairns.com.au and his new venture, where he helps other businesses get online is http://www.ourwebpresence.net.

p.s. I’ve gotten to know Andrew because he is an Expand2Web member, and a great guy. So if you need help with your website he can really help you out.

Honestly I wasn’t really sure that I needed to watch the video since I am in the group and have worked with you both, but it was well worth the time! Andrew you have done a most impressive job with your business and I have no doubt that your knowledge will be of great value to future clients. I found it really interesting to learn how Andrew had started marketing and taking reservations for clients before he even opened his doors for business. Thanks for the interview guys!

Thanks for your comment Eileen. Yes, the system of setting up a website before you launch your business is a good idea. One can create web presence and also demonstrate themselves as a trusted advisor. All we need is patience.

I’m not surprised many businesses do this. I have some huge clients that work soley off of online marketing and virtually nothing else.
