Step 1: Get Hosting and Install WordPress
If you don’t have a hosting provider yet, I recommend that you sign up for BlueHost.
They provide a very competitively priced hosting plan ($6.95/month) that comes with a free domain name and allows you to install WordPress with one click. They also provide 24/7 U.S. based support.

Important Update for SimpleScripts Users: We are currently partnering with SimpleScripts and offer to install the SmallBiz Theme by default with every WordPress install. Please un-check the option to include the SmallBiz Theme and install from your Zip file instead. The automatic install version via SimpleScripts is a locked version that requires a separate purchase and checkout step. Please refer to this tutorial on how to install your Zip File version on top of the SimpleScripts pre-installed locked version, should you have not unchecked the option initially.
Step 2: Install and Activate Your New Theme
WordPress makes it super easy to upload and activate new themes without needing to use an FTP client. This video shows you how to install and activate your new theme in WordPress:
Step 3: Post Install Steps
After WordPress and your SmallBiz theme is installed, there are a few WordPress configuration steps I recommend to take your website SEO to the next level.
