when the people register with this it doesn’t go into the wordpress registration. I have my website using WordPress Access Control Settings plugin so when you register you will than get more features. Since this doesn’t register through wordpress they are not allowed to see the restricted marital. Any help?

@deeba – every WordPress blog has an RSS feed, you just have to know where to look for it. It should either be at http://example.com/?feed=rss or http://example.com/feed/ depending on how you have your permalinks set up.

Thank you for posting this. I have a question. I recently transferred from Blogger after 3 long years and WP is like a maze for me. I added the GFC plug in and activated it, but am unsure if the RSS works? Would you be able to help / advise me

Hi, I have the MistyLook by Sadish Theme and I can’t find the :
“footer.php (in your themes directory) right before the closing tag”
can I add it as a widget somewhere? I’m sort of lost…

Hi John,
There is a footer.php in the SmallBiz theme directory just like other themes. It is in /wp-content/themes/smallbiz – and you’re right, that is a good place to put the GFC toolbar code.

The SmallBiz Theme also has a Google Analytics field in the Options Panel, and you could simply put the code there instead of messing with the footer.php. Anything you put in that box will show up just before the closing body tag.

This is where I loose you….In most WordPress themes, you’ll need to add it to the footer.php (in your themes directory) right before the closing tag on your site. This file typically resides in the wp-content/themes/nameofyourtheme directory.

I am using your small biz theme. Where do I find the footer.php ?

Hmmm… am I missing something here? When I go to Google friend connect and login, the”Social bar” is not listed in the menu options. Did they recently do away with this? I sure hope not. The regular friend connect box is too big. I really need the Social bar or the regular box needs to be more narrow (160px max) and I see that is not an option. Please point me in the right direction if you know something that I don’t. Thanks!
