What does it mean for small businesses?
Imagine what this could mean for your small business - the ability to provide much richer and more informative search results to stand out from your competition! Depending on how Yahoo implements this, it could be a very quick way to rank much higher in the search results, and attract new visitors and potential customers to your website.
I think this will also push Google to be more open with their Google Local Business Center results, extending on some of the changes they made recently to allow business owners to update their address information directly.
I’ll be following this development closely, so stay tuned and I’ll share more details of how to take advantage of this as they become available!
